I mean if you are gonna write something from scratch that will render the previous version non-compatible, you might as well do big changes. V2 will be an upcoming release (based on history, perhaps another 5 years?) that besides disrupting the somewhat stable ecosystem has next to nothing in terms of improvements for layman users.ĭon't get me wrong, I love the way v2 is evolving and in my opinion it should have adapted a hell lot more changes.
